Little Dog Orchard is located 90 minutes drive north of New York City, and is easily accessible via bus from Port Authority, if you don’t want to drive. It’s also easy to grab a cab from the bus station to the orchard (yes, there are cabs outside of NYC! Amazing!).

If you’re driving from New York City:

Get yourself to 95 South, continuing over the George Washington Bridge (upper level is preferable).

IMMEDIATELY on the NJ side of the bridge, get on the Palisades Parkway north for about 20 minutes.

Take exit 9W for the NYS Thruway (87) North, toward Albany.

Take the Thruway to Exit 18 (New Paltz/Poughkeepsie).

After the tolls at Exit 18, take a right onto 299 east, for about 1/4 mile.

At the first light (gas station on the right) take a right onto South Ohioville Rd.

Go about 3 miles to the first stop sign (it's a 4-way stop).

Take a left onto Hurds Rd, and go about a mile and a half.

After the sharp S-curve, our driveway is on the left after the black mailbox marked 40.

The house is hard to see from the road, just turn into the orchard and it'll be directly in front of you.

If you’re bussing from New York City, take the Adirondack Trailways bus from Port Authority to New Paltz. The busses run frequently, and the schedule can be found here:

Check the route from New York to New Paltz, and be sure to let us know when you’re arriving so that we can help you arrange transportation from the station to the orchard. Once you’re in New Paltz you’re only about 4 miles from the orchard.
